The longtime Davis Islands restaurant closed in recent weeks. It's going to be replaced with another restaurant.
In 2003, the Pink Flamingo moved to 304 E. Davis Blvd. after nesting a block away for six years. The small restaurant kept its seaside theme, with stuffed fish and other knickknacks hanging from the ceiling and an aquarium near the front door.
The Pink Flamingo sold everything from sandwiches to salad, from pasta to quesadillas.
