Lauren Alaina, the runner-up finalist on the 2011 “American Idol,” has been added to the headline entertainment lineup at the Florida Strawberry Festival.
Alaina will take the place of the JaneDear Girls, who canceled their 3:30 p.m. March 3 performance at the festival’s Wish Farms Soundstage.
“We are excited to have Lauren Alaina at the 2012 Florida Strawberry Festival,” General Manager Paul Davis said today. “Lauren is an outstanding young lady and will be a true asset to our festival.”
Alaina’s debut album, “Wildflower,” has hit No. 17 on the Top Country Music Billboard Charts.
Tickets for the show are $10 and $15 and are available at www.flstrawberryfestival.com, by phone at (813) 754-1996 or at the Amscot Main Ticket Gate at 2209 Oak Ave.
The festival is March 1-11.
