Attendance at National Football League games may be on the decline (can you say "blackout," Buccaneers fans?), but that doesn't mean you can't find a number of ways to get that ultimate game-day experience.
The NFL is making it easier for fans to watch their favorite teams. Wall-to-wall network coverage, NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL RedZone, live-streaming online – any game is available just about any time, giving us little reason to leave our living rooms.
But while we appreciate settling into our recliner for a day of football in front of the wide-screen, there's something to be said about meeting friends and enjoying the frenzy of an NFL Sunday without springing for a stadium ticket, especially if the Buccaneers aren't your team of choice.
Several bars and restaurants in the Bay area have become on-site fan clubs for both NFL and college teams , enabling followers of a particular team to watch the action live and enjoy an afternoon of food, football and camaraderie.
