Among the top 20 finalists performing at 8 tonight on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" is Ricky Jaime, 19, from Tampa.
The Miami native moved to the Brandon area when he was a teen, and he graduated from Newsome High School in Lithia in 2010. He has been dancing since he was 10 years old.
Since January, Jaime has been an instructor at Centerstage Dance Academy on North Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood.
Centerstage owner and director Yvette Breheney says Jaime is very talented and very mature for his age.
"We think he will go far in this competition," she says. "We're all rooting for him, and we'll be having a watching party at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza next Wednesday night."
Jaime, whose specialty is contemporary dance, has competed nationally. He has said that he would like to be a member of a professional ballet company in California, New York or Europe.
SHE'S BAACK: TV Land keeps looking for another retro sitcom hit such as "Hot in Cleveland," which starts a new season at 10 tonight. And right after, TV Land rolls out newcomer "Happily Divorced" at 10:30 p.m.
It stars Fran "The Nanny" Drescher as a woman whose life is turned upside down when her husband, Peter (John Michael Higgins), decides he's gay after 18 years of marriage.
It's a cordial split. They remain friends and roommates because they can't sell their house in the current economy.
Drescher, drawing from real-life experience, co-created the show with her former husband of 20 years, Peter Marc Jacobson. He came out as gay after they divorced in 1999 (when "The Nanny" ended its run). And they remain friends.
"Happily Divorced" has a lot of gay jokes, but these are gay-friendly jokes. Peter wears an Alpine hat to the annual "Sound of Music" sing-along. When Fran's mother (Rita Moreno) suggests that Fran might change Peter by buying "something very sexy that will turn him on," Fran zings, "Like what? A jock strap?"
"Happy Divorced" isn't as much fun as "Hot in Cleveland," but Drescher, 52, looks good, and she's still got a sassy attitude and that Queens accent. But she has toned down the trademark honking laugh and that whine some loved and others hated.
STILL HOT: Betty White's character, Elka Ostrovsky, is still on the run from the law when "Hot in Cleveland" resumes for its second season tonight.
Having been found guilty of possessing stolen property, Elka is hiding out in Amish country, so Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Victoria (Wendie Malick) and Joy (Jane Leeves) need to get her back to Cleveland for her sentencing.
In upcoming episodes, Elka gets a new boyfriend; Melanie gets a magazine writing job; and Joy connects with her grown son. Among the guest stars are Buck Henry, Jennifer Love Hewitt, John Mahoney, Dick Van Patten, Doris Roberts, George Wendt, Mindy Cohn, Amy Sedaris and Huey Lewis.
MORE KILLING: The season finale of AMC's miniseries "The Killing" is Sunday night, but the story won't end there. AMC has renewed "The Killing" for a second season of 13 episodes. Crime solver Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) will have a new murder to solve next year.
