It looks like veteran Tampa radio host Todd Schnitt will be on the air for years to come.

Schnitt, host of the nationally syndicated program "The Schnitt Show," has agreed to a multi-year contract to continue hosting his show from Tampa's WFLA-AM (970), according to a release from Clear Channel Media.

The news comes two weeks after Schnitt announced via Twitter that he would be leaving WFLA on Dec. 18, and would begin broadcasting from a different station.

"The Schnitt Show" has broadcast from WFLA since 2002, and currently airs on almost 50 stations around the U.S., as well as iHeart Radio and SiriusXM satellite radio. It can be heard weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m.

Schnitt has been on the air in Tampa for more than 19 years, also hosting 93.3 WFLZ's morning show until February.

"I'm thrilled to announce my new, multi-year deal with Clear Channel Tampa. 970 WFLA has been 'The Schnitt Show's' home for 11 years," Schnitt said in the Clear Channel news release. "I really appreciate the outpouring of support from my loyal listeners."
