Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to the Tampa area for the first time in more than two years when they perform March 23 at the Forum.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Forum box office and Ticketmaster outlets. To order by phone, call 800-745-3000.

The Forum show will be the only one in Florida.

Springsteen announced the dates for the first U.S. leg of his Wrecking Ball World Tour on Tuesday.

The tour, which coincides with the release of his 17th studio album, "Wrecking Ball," opens March 18 in Atlanta and precludes his European tour.

Springsteen's last concert in Tampa was Sept. 12, 2009, at the then-Ford Amphitheatre. He also performed the Super Bowl halftime show at Raymond James Stadium in 2009.

It also is his first tour since famed saxophonist Clarence Clemons died in June after suffering a stroke.
