You, too, can experience the glamour of Sunday's 84tj Academy Awards and have your own red carpet experience at the Tampa Theatre's annual Oscar Night America.
The party at Tampa's historic movie house is one of 49 such parties nationwide sanctioned by the academy.
"Oscar Night is a great opportunity for us to give our guests the ultimate celebrity experience while raising money for Tampa Theatre," said John Bell, the theater's president and CEO.
Guests can put on their best party clothes, ride in a limo, sign autographs for adoring fans, be blinded by the flash of paparazzi and face an interview with red carpet hostess "Roan Jivers."
After a reception in the lobby with complimentary food samples, participants will settle in to watch the 84th Academy Awards on the theater's big screen.
There also will be free popcorn, soda and coffee during the show.
The event will benefit the not-for-profit Tampa Theatre Foundation, which supports the theater's artistic and education programs.
"We are thrilled to be able to celebrate the movies with fans nationwide while supporting charities around the country," Academy CEO Dawn Hudson said in a news release.
Last year, more than $3.5 million was raised nationally. Money raised stays in the community.
