They call themselves the "Married Clowns," but we'll see how long they'll be laughing once they begin their grueling global adventure.
Dave Gregg and his wife, Cherie, of New Port Richey, will be among the 11 teams competing in this season of CBS' "The Amazing Race."
The "Ambassadors of Laughter," as they're listed on their "Amazing Race" bio, work as clowns for Ringling Bros. in Sarasota, bringing free programs to children in hospitals, schools and libraries.
"As ambassadors of laughter we understand the international language of comedy and how it can connect our world," Dave Gregg said in his bio.
Added Cherie Gregg: "Clowning is a universal language. Plus, we're used to working and traveling together. We have a 'show must go on' attitude!"
The Greggs, both 44, are taking part in the series' 20th competition, which will span five continents, 22 cities and nearly 40,000 miles.
According to CBS, the challenges will include skydiving in Argentina, training with the Masai warriors in Tanzania and racing through Africa's "Garden of Eden."
In addition, Rachel Reilly, winner of last year's "Big Brother," and her fiance will compete.
The new season premieres Feb. 19.
